      (default <filename> is the last file written on the look area)

Output files:

SVTMon.log  ==> is the output with the SVTD bank dumps
SVTMon<run # hex>.root  ==> root histograms file
svtntuple_<run #>.hbook  ==> paw ntuple
SVTMon.tcl  (input to SVTMon)
plot.ps  ===> postscript file containing basic histograms

Comments:

• the program works with release 4.0.0 (it is possible that it works with more recent releases, but it is not garanteed !)
• instead of 'setup netscape' one can do 'setup ghostview' and use 'gv plot.ps' instead of 'display plot.ps'
• good files in the look area are about 1 GB large. Smaller files normally are not good.
• you can look at the log file, SVTMon.log, the SVTD dump file (SVTD_dump.txt) or the paw ntuple (svtntuple_125348.hbook, in this example) to check more quantities and histograms
• histograms are available in the root file (SVTMon125348aa.root) also.
