Silicon Task Force

This Task Force was built at the end of September 2002 in order to deal with the increasing number of failures appearing on the CDF RUN II Silicon detector

Here is a list of our reports:

As can be seen from the plot above starting on March 2002 a new set of failures started to show up in the CDF RUN II Silicon detector. As a consequence of these failures on 07/11/2002 a limit of 12 KHz on the L1A rate has been imposed by the Silicon group to the CDF experiment.

The failures are of 2 separate nature and symptoms:
