We present a search for a heavy sneutrino decaying into two leptons of different flavors, predicted in R-parity violating supersymmetric models. The search is based on 1~${\rm fb^{-1}}$ of data collected in $p \bar{p}$ collisions by the CDF II Detector at the Fermilab Tevatron. Our results are consistent with the Standard Model expectations and we present 95 \% C.L. upper limits on $\sigma \times \rm BR$ ($ p \bar{p} \rightarrow \widetilde{\nu}_{\tau}\rightarrow e\mu,e\tau,\mu\tau$
